Wine tasting & pig roasting at the Barca Csangos

Would you like to hike, but choose a special, familiar, yet unknown location?

Do you like special wines and delicious dinner? Come to Transylvania in a small, but beautiful corner of Barca!

You will have the opportunity to stay in a friendly house (with half board), discover the world of the Csango-Hungarians from Barca, take local walks along the wonders of the area and attend a wine tasting accompanied by a dinner party.

During the wine tasting, the following or the same category of wines will be tasted - all of which are Romanian wines that have been selected to guarantee that everyone finds their favourite taste.

We serve homemade cheeses beside the wines.

We start with a light, fresh white wine, a White Daughter of 2017 followed by a Princess, a vine variety from Transylvania.

After lighter wines, we continue with a Chardonnay matured in an oak barrel, which, with its complexity, crowns the white wines.

In the red wine category we start with an easier Pinot Noir followed by the Black Girl (Feteasca Neagra), which is one of the main blue grapes in Romania.

The line is closed with a complex wine barrel that shows the best of the Dragasani region.

Our package offers 3 days and 2 nights with half board, 1-day guided tour, wine tasting and a dinner with pig roasting.

Date: from 15 to 25 November 2018. (* exact dates are required)

Price of package: (2 nights & 3 days) 440 RON / person or 96 EUR / person

Booking deadline: 2018. November 1.
Advance payment required: minimum 10% - up to 1 November 2018.

Number of places is limited: minimum 15 people maximum 35 people

We offer 5% of the price of the wine tasting package to the Szent Ferenc Foundation from Gyorgyószárhegy.
